Canada Comprehensive Ranking system

This scoring will help you calculate your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on the factors listed below. The CRS is a points-based system that IRCC will use will help them to assess and score your profile and rank it in the Express Entry pool.

  • Work experience
  • Other factors

The CRS ranks eligible express entry candidates who are in pool of candidates for immigration to Canada through Express Entry under the following components:

core human capital factors;

  • Accompanying spouse or common-law factors;
  • Skill transferability factors; and
  • Other factors include relating to a provincial nomination, a valid job offer of arranged employment, Canadian study experience, a sibling living in Canada, and/or French language ability( TEF test report).
Comprehensive Ranking System Immanuel Immigrations

There is a total of 1,200(600 points for selection factors+ 600 points for provincial nominee programs) points available under the Comprehensive Ranking System. For candidates without an accompanying spouse or who are never married or don’t have common-law partner, there are:

  • Get a maximum of 500 pointsfor core human capital factors.
  • Get a maximum of 100 points for skill transferability factors.
  • Get additional 600 points for either a provincial nomination; or
  • You may get up to 200 points available for a valid job offer of arranged employment; and
  • You also may get up to 30 points for Canadian study experience
  • There is option to get up to 30 additional points for French language ability, when combined with English language test IELTS; and
  • Get a maximum of 15 points for a sibling who is right now living in Canada.
  • For express entry candidates who apply with an accompanying spouse or common-law partner, will be able to get below listed points as well:
  • Up to a maximum of 460 points available for core human capital factors of the principal applicant;
  • Get a maximum of 40 points for the core human capital factors of the spouse or common-law partner;
  • May also get 600 points available for either a provincial nomination; or
  • May also get up to 200 points available for a qualifying offer of arranged employment; and
  • Generally, up to 30 points or more for Canadian study experience.
  • Up to 30 additional points for French language ability, combined with English language test IELTS; and
  • Could also get a maximum of 15 points for a sibling in Canada (one sibling of the principal applicant and the accompanying spouse/common-law partner is considered).
